3 Face Domestic Violence Charges

Family arguments lead to arrests by Greenwich Police.

 

Three separate domestic violence incidents ended with the arrests of three suspects by Greenwich Police.

A 40-year-old woman who lives on North Water Street was arrested on third-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct charges following a March 30 argument over a couple's use of television remote control about 11:40 p.m. According to the police report, the argument escalated into a physical altercation.

The woman was held in lieu of $1,000 bond and was scheduled to appear April 1 in state Superior Court in Stamford. The report did not indicate whether the victim required medical treatment.

A Moshier Street resident was arrested on disorderly conduct and risk of injury charges in connection with an incident at his home on March 28.

According to a Greenwich Police report, the 44-year-old man was arreste snhortly after 7 p.m. March 28. The report did not indicate the nature of the dispute. The report only indicated the man was assigned an April 1 date to appear in state Superior Court in Stamford.

A argument that escalated into a physical altercation between a Greenwich mother and son ended with the arrest of the son on third-degree assault and disorderly conduct charges.

According to a Greenwich Police report, Greenwich Police were called to the Greenwich Hospital Emergency Department shortly after 4 p.m. March 22 where at least one of the suspects sought treatment for minor injuries.

The argument involved a "juvenile (who) became defiant and ... placed his mother in a headlock and struck her in the face," according to the police report. The 15-year-old was released to the custody of his father and scheduled to appear April 2 in the Juvenile Matters Division of state Superior Court in Stamford.
