An Arrest and 2 Car Burglaries in Greenwich


A Greenwich man was arrested on a second-degree failure to appear in court charge by Greenwich Police.

John M. Clark, 34, of 11 Melrose Ave., Greenwich was arrested April 22. He is accused of failing to appear in state Superior Court in Stamford on March 21 on charges stemming from a Jan. 19 incident on Delavan Avenue.

He was released after posting a $2,500 bond. Clark has a new court date of April 29.

Greenwich Police say two cars parked in the rear lot of the Hyatt Regency Greenwich were burglarized and GPS devices were stolen from them.

The first theft was reported just before 11 p.m. April 19 with the second at 7:16 a.m. the following morning, April 20.

In both instances, a car window was smashed and thieves stole the digital devices, police said.
