Another Teen Charged with Break-In

Charges stem from burglary, party held in vacationing family's home.

 

A third teen has been arrested by Greenwich Police in connection with the April burglary of an Old Orchard Road home.

According to police, the 17-year-old suspect is accused of being part of a group of teens and young adults who attended a party in the home. But the party wasn't something the family had planned—they had hired The cat-feeder apparently invited several teens and young adults to a party in the family's home. During the party a "large amount of cash and household items" were stolen, according to police reports.

The family reported the burglary and thefts when they returned to their home in the Riverside section of town.

The teen—now 17—surrendered July 20 to Greenwich Police who obtained an arrest warrant charging him with third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny. He was released with a summons to appear July 31 in the Juvenile Matters division of state Superior Court in Stamford.
