Argument Leads to Woman's Arrest

A woman is facing several charges following an argument with her boyfriend inside a parked car in downtown Greenwich.

According to a Greenwich Police report, officers investigating a report of an altercation inside a car outside 52 Lafayette Pl. about 6:30 p.m. March 9 found that the woman had damaged the ignition key, disabling the car.

When police arrested Christina Pitterson, 19, of 50 Lafayette Pl., Greenwich, on charges of second-degree breach of peace and third-degree criminal mischief, they found evidence to lodge additional charges, according to the report.

Pitterson was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal possession of narcotics, illegally obtaining drug and failure to keep a prescription in original container after police said they found a prescription pill, a small amount of marijuana and a glass smoking pipe, according to the report.

Pitterson was released after posting $250 bond and is scheduled to appear March 10 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
