Arrests Include DWI Charge

Parked after hours at a business prompted police to investigate.

A town resident whom Greenwich Police say his car was parked in a business that was closed for the night, was arrested on a driving while intoxicated charge.

Michael J. Tracey, 49, who gave an address of 31 Cognewaugh Rd., Greenwich, also was charged with interfering with police following the 2:32 a.m. incident June 1. According to a Greenwich Police report Tracey is accused of having parked his SUV at the Sunoco gas station on East Putnam Avenue and Indian Field Road after hours.

When police investigated, Tracey reportedly became "verbally abusive" and "tried to place his hands on officers in an attempt to stop" their investigation, according to the report. Officers reported Tracey had an odor of alcohol on his breath, was unsteady on his feet and failed sobriety tests.

Tracey was held in lieu of $500 bond and brought to state Superior Court in Stamford on June 1.

James A. Dadio, 43, who gave an address of 107 Weed St., New Canaan, was arrested May 31 on a charge of second-degree violation of condition of release.

Greenwich Police obtained an arrest warrant for Dadio and he was arrested by New Canaan police. Details surrounding the charge were not included in a police report. Dadio was released after posting $500 bond and scheduled to appear June 6 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

Seems to me you are missing the most obvious which is shown in the photo used at the top ofRead More Greenwich Patch pages - Grass Island Marina/Park is directly across the waterway. You won't be able to see much of the stage front but you can certainly enjoy the tunes.
