Arrests Made In 2 Domestic Violence Cases

Greenwich Police investigate domestic violence incidents and make arrests.

 

Greenwich Police have made arrests in connection with two domestic violence cases.

According to police reports, two 24-year-old men, one from Port Chester, NY, the other from Greenwich, were arrested in connection with an incident at the Wilbur Peck Court housing complex on Oct. 18.

Apparently, the female victim, suffered a swollen lip when she tried to break up a fight between an ex-boyfriend and her current boyfriend about 7:30 ap.m., Oct. 18. The victim's two children witnessed the fight. Each man was charged with second-degree breach of peace and risk of injury to a minor.

Each man was released after posting $100 bond and scheduled to appear Oct. 19 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

On Monday, Oct. 22, police arrested a 40-year-old Davis Avenue woman following an argument with a 48-year-old man who apparently was struck in the face and suffered a cut arm during an argument.

The woman was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct in coonection with the incident tht was reported shortly after 7:30 p.m., according to a police report. The woman was released after posting a $1,000 bond and scheduled to appear Oct. 23 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
