Arrests: Teens and Couples Fight, Drunk Driving

Diego A. Holguin, 30, of 14 Scribner Ave., Norwalk, was arrested by warrant at 6:45 p.m. on March 10 and charged with fourth-degree larceny. He’s accused of committing larceny on Dec. 22. Holguin was released on $1,000 bond and scheduled to appear Thursday in state Superior Court in Stamford.

Police arrested Delvany Marques-Dossantos, 41, of 10 Holly Cove Circle, Stamford, at 3:11 a.m. on March 6 and charged her with driving under the influence and engaging police in pursuit.

After police tried to pull her over for speeding on Delavan Avenue, and following the car in front of her too closely, Marques-Dossantos sped onto Interstate 95 at exit 2, according to police. Police said they caught up to her just north of exit 3, where she failed field sobriety tests.

Marques-Dossantos was released on $250 bond and scheduled to appear March 21 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

James Andres Clifford, 18, of 56 Weaver St., was arrested at 3:30 p.m. on March 9 and charged with possession of a controlled substance and violation of probation.

Greenwich police searched Clifford after probation officials said they held two warrants for his arrest. Police found Valium tablets on him.

Clifford was released on $10,000 bnd and scheduled to appear March 16 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

Police arrested Charles Pavarini, 21, of 183 Byram Shore Road, by warrant at 3:30 p.m. on March 9 and charged him with failure to appear.

Pavarini had been arrested on a marijuana-related charge, police said. He was released on $10,000 and scheduled to appear March 16 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

A 17-year-old Greenwich man was arrested by warrant at 10 p.m. on March 9 and charged with interfering with an officer.

During a motor vehicle stop, police found that they held an arrest warrant for the teen, whose name was withheld because of his age. He had interfered with an officer during a motor vehicle accident investigation, police said.

The teen was released after promising to appear March 16 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

Police arrested Sarah McBride, 64, of 5 Phyllis Place, Port Chester, at 10 p.m. on March 9 and charged her with driving under the influence.

Police said they found McBride after her car became stuck in the mud when she tried to turn around near Interstate 95 in Byram. She failed field sobriety tests, police said.

McBride was released on $250 bond and scheduled to appear March 23 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

A 17-year-old Hollow Wood Lane man was arrested at 11:30 p.m. on March 9 and charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

He allegedly threw a woman to the floor of her home following an argument, fracturing her leg, police said. The woman reportedly had threatened to phone police after the teen grabbed her in a bear hug.

The teen was released on $5,000 bond and scheduled to appear March 10 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

Two teenage girls from Greenwich were arrested and charged with third-degree assault after police saw a videotape of their fight.

The girls — 13 and 16 years old — got into a fight in a parking lot on Miller Lane. Their names were withheld because of their ages.

“During the kerfuffle, the 13-year-old pushed the 16-year-old to the ground,” police said in a report. “As the 16-year-old was falling, she grabbed the 13-year-old, who then sustained a minor bump to the head when she hit the ground.”

Both teens were referred to the Juvenile Division of state Superior Court in Stamford and scheduled to appear March 15.

Police arrested Henry Calam, 40, of 83 Halsey Drive, Riverside, at 5:22 p.m. on March 11 and charged him with disorderly conduct.

He got into a fight with a woman, police said.

Calam was released after promising to appear March 14 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

Jose A. Rosado, 36, of 280 Road Oak Lane, Bridgeport, was arrested at 2:25 a.m. on March 12 and charged with driving under the influence and operating a motor vehicle under a suspended license.

He failed field sobriety tests after police stopped him for speeding, according to a police report.

He was released on $1,000 bond and scheduled to appear March 21 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

Diego A. Ramirez, 20, of 227 Shippan Ave., Stamford, was arrested at 12:48 p.m. on March 11 and charged with sixth-degree larceny, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle without a license, misuse of plates and operating a motor vehicle with no insurance.

Police ran a Connecticut taxi plate seen on a vehicle Ramirez was driving, and found out it had been reported stolen.

Ramirez was released on $100 bond and scheduled to appear March 18 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

Jhonny E. Rosero-Andrade, 47, of 32 Wilbur Peck Court, at 5:42 a.m. on March 13 and charged him with disorderly conduct.

He hit someone in the face, according to police.

Rosero-Andrade was released on $1,000 bond and scheduled to appear March 14 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
