Cops: Greenwich-Contracted Valet Sent Inappropriate Photo to Woman

Written by Stamford Patch Editor DJ McAneny.

A valet driver contracted out by the Mercedes-Benz of Greenwich was arrested by Stamford Police Monday after he allegedly sent a photo of his genitalia to a client he had transported earlier in the day.

According to Stamford Police Capt. Richard Conklin, Jonathan Silva, 22, of 2 N. Pinehurst W. 177th St. in New York, NY, and an employee of All American Valet, was sent to pick up a Stamford woman at the West Putnam Avenue car dealership in Greenwich after she dropped her car off for maintenance.

The valet drove the woman, who is in her early 40s, to her place of employment, Conklin said, then returned to pick her up and deliver her to the Mercedes shop later that day once the work to the vehicle was completed.

Later that evening, the woman received a text message containing a photo of a "part of the male anatomy" and a message, which she delivered to Stamford Police headquarters, according to Conklin.

Conklin said an investigation revealed the message had been sent from Silva, the valet that had transported the woman to and from work earlier that day.

Silva was arrested Monday, Jan. 13, and charged with disorderly conduct, second-degree harassment and obscenity. He was issued a court date of Jan. 27 after posting bond.
