Crash Snarls Greenwich I-95 Traffic

Greenwich Fire Department has cleared the accident scene and all lanes are now reopened to traffic, according to emergency radio dispatches.

Greenwich Fire Department has reopened the left and center lanes to traffic. There is a tractor-trailer still on the shoulder in the area of the crash, according to emergency radio dispatches.

A multiple-vehicle crash is snarling southbound traffic on I-95 near Exit 2, according to witnesses and the Breaking News Network.

A witness reports seeing several vehicles including a Jeep Liberty involved in the crash. The crash was first reported about 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10.

Traffic is backed up into Stamford.

Greenwich Fire Department is at the scene.
