Daughter Charged with Pawning Greenwich Mom's Jewelry

Police say jewelry was pawned in NYC.

A 30-year-old Port Chester, NY woman surrendered to Greenwich Police who obtained an arrest warrant charging the woman with fifth-degree larceny.

According to a Greenwich Police report, Megan A. Krayeski, who gave an address of 92 Hobart Dr., Port Chester, surrendered at police headquarters on Dec. 9. She is charged with the Nov. 13 theft of jewelry worth between $500 and $1,000 from her mother's Greenwich home. The jewelry was pawned in New York City for cash, according to the report.

Krayeski was released after posting $800 bond and scheduled to appear Dec. 21 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
