Dispute, Family Fights Lead to Greenwich Arrests

Roundup of Greenwich Police arrests also includes larceny and motor vehicle offenses.

A 21-year-old Greenwich man surrendered to who obtained an arrest warrant charging him with assault in connection with a a domestic violence incident.

Alexander E. Panagopulos, who gave an address of 100 N. Old Stonebridge Rd., surrendered April 27 to face charges of second-degree assault, interfering with a police officer and disorderly conduct in connection with a March incident at his home.

He was held in lieu of $1,000 bond and scheduled to appear April 30 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

A brother and sister were arrested after an argument over money turned physical, according to Greenwich Police.

Latasha Parris, 23, and Raynard A. Parris, 26, both of 20 Chestnut St., Greenwich, were arrested about 11:30 a.m. April 27, after police found them pushing one another and screaming at each other, according to a police report. Latasha is accused of poking her brother in the eye and punching him in the face. Raynard is accused of pushing his sister in retaliation, according to the report.

Both were released on written promises to appear April 30 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

A Greenwich teen was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge in connection with an incident at a Grange Street residence on April 27.

According to a Greenwich Police report, Ricardo Horton, 18, who gave an address of 10 Weaver St., was charged after police received a report he was forcefully knocking on the front door of the residence of a girlfriend, and continued knocking after she would not let him in. He was released on a written promise to appear May 4 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

A Port Chester, NY teen was arrested on a sixth-degree larceny charge stemming from the April 29 theft of a bicycle from a Hamilton Avenue backyard.

Jonathan Nunez, 18, who gave an address of 39 Central Ave., is accused of taking the bike as he cut through the yard to get to the Armstrong Court housing complex on Hamilton Avenue. Nunez was released after posting $100 bond and scheduled to appeawr May 7 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

A driver who police said admitted he didn't have a license was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle under suspension and interfering with a police officer about 1:30 a.m. April 29.

According to a Greenwich Police report, Kaley R. Bolton, 28, who gave an address of 48 Townsend St., Port Chester, NY, is accused of giving police a fake middle name when he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Bolton was identified with probation photos and charged, according to the report. He was released after posting $1,000 bond and scheduled to appear May 7 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
