Cell Phone Dispute Ends with Couple Facing Disorderly Conduct Charge

A dispute over the use of a cell phone between a couple prompted a youngster to call Greenwich Police who now face misdemeanor summons for disorderly conduct.

According to a Greenwich Police report, officers were sent to a home on Hendrie Avenue in Riverside shortly before 10 p.m. Feb. 24 after a 911 call was made by a juvenile in the home. Police could hear the argument when they arrived at the home.

The argument became a minor physical altercation which led to the phone being thrown out a window, according to the report.

Both the 46-year-old woman and the 45-year-old man were issued the misdemeanor summons and scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Stamford.
