Greenwich cops bust Port Chester man on charges he failed to answer domestic violence charges.

A Port Chester, NY man has surrendered to who obtained arrest warrants for him charging him with failing to appear in court on domestic violence-rated charges.

Jose D. Aguirre, 40, who gave an address of 40 Grace Church St., Port Chester, surrendered to Greenwich Police on Jan. 3. According to police, Aguirre faces two counts of first-degree failure to appear in court and one count of second-degree failure to appear in court. The charges stem from Aguirre's arrest on Sept. 26 and again on Oct. 28 on domestic violence related charges, according to police. for violating an order of protection his wife had obtained.

He is being held in lieu of $45,000 bond and scheduled to appear Jan. 11 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on a marijuana possession charge stemming from a Dec. 26 incident in Cos Cob.

The unidentified teen was arrested Dec. 28 following an investigation by the Greenwich Police Special Victims Section that a teen and two other juveniles, were in a red Smart Car and had left a residence on Old Post Road #6 in Cos Cob with a small amount of marijuana. According to a police report released Jan. 4, officers found the trio who allegedly had some marijuana.

The 16-year-old was issued a juvenile summons on a charge of possession of marijuana, less than a half-ounce. He was released on a promise to appear Jan. 17 in the Juvenile Matters division of state Superior Court in Stamford.

Seems to me you are missing the most obvious which is shown in the photo used at the top ofRead More Greenwich Patch pages - Grass Island Marina/Park is directly across the waterway. You won't be able to see much of the stage front but you can certainly enjoy the tunes.
