Driver Faces DWI Charge

Greenwich Police checking on the welfare of a driver whose car was parked on the shoulder of Byram Road early Sunday, ended up arresting the motorist on a driving while intoxicated charge.

Carlos A. Milla, 28, of 32 High St., Stamford, was arrested at 1 a.m. Dec. 8 after police found his vehicle parked and the engine running in the 100 block of Byram Road, according to a police report. Milla reportedlly had red, glassy eyes and an odor of alcohol beverages, and failed field sobriety tests, according to the report.

Milla was unable to post a $250 bond. He was scheduled to appear Dec. 16 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
