Drunk Driving Suspect Fights Greenwich Police

Greenwich Police investigating a minor car crash Saturday evening arrested a 28-year-old Norwalk woman after failing sobriety tests and fighting with officers as they tried to arrest her.
According to a police report, Gina C. Clemente, of 12 1/2 Juhasz Dr., was charged with driving under the influence, unsafe backing and interfering with an officer, in connection with the 7:19 p.m. incident at 500 Steamboat Rd.
Clemente posted a $2,500 bond and was scheduled to appear Oct. 16 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

A Wilbur Peck Court couple were arrested on disorderly conduct charges following a domestic violence incident at 10:20 a.m. Friday, Sept. 30.

According to a Greenwich Police report, the 34-year-old man and the 27-year-old woman were involved in a verbal dispute which evolved into a pushing and shoving match. Each was charged with disorderly conduct, and released on promises to appear Oct. 3 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

A 20-year-old Putnam Green resident was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge following a verbal dispute that ended with the suspect accused of breaking a sign, television and mirror inside the home.
Officers were summoned to the home about 5:39 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2.
He was released on a promise to appear Oct. 3 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
