Ex-Employee Is Accused of Threatening Former Bosses

A man who had been fired from a downtown Greenwich restaurant is facing charges that he returned to the eatery and threatened two of his former supervisors.

According to a Greenwich Police report, several officers were sent to the Chipotle Mexican Grill at 49 Greenwich Ave., about 3:20 p.m. Feb. 24 after employees reported that a man who had been terminated was in the restaurant and threatening to attack the two managers on duty.

Police arrested Jovan L. Goodwin, 34, who gave an address of 111 William St., Stamford, was charged with disorderly conduct and two counts of second-degree threatening. He was released on a written promise to appear March 3 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

The police report did not indicate when or why Goodwin was terminated.
