Greenwich Couple Faces Charges Following Argument, Accident


A Greenwich couple is facing charges stemming from a motor vehicle crash that occurred in April.

According to a Greenwich Police report, police obtained arrest warrants for the couple identified as Elizabeth Castillo, 21, and Christian O. Perez-Gonzalez, 23, both of 61 Wilbur Peck Ct.

Castillo was charged with interfering with police and second-degree false statement. She was released on a written promise to appear in court. Perez-Gonzalez was charged with operating without a license, evading responsibility and restricted turns - failure to signal. He was released on a $250 bond.

The charges stem from an April 6 crash on Ritch Avenue, according to the report. Both are scheduled to appear June 6 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

A Greenwich couple was issued misdemeanor summons on a disorderly conduct charge following an argument that turned physical.

According to a Greenwich Police report, the 50-year-old husband and his 42-year-old wife argued in their Brookside Drive home on May 30. They're both accused of pushing one another. The wife also is accused of ripping her husband's shirt.

Each was issued a misdemeanor infraction for disorderly and released on written promises to appear in state Superior Court in Stamford.
