Greenwich Couple Faces Charges of Assaulting Child in Their Care


A Greenwich couple has been arrested on charges they assaulted a young child who had been left in their care, according to Greenwich Police.

Police arrested the couple on June 28 after arrest warrants were issued by a state Superior Court judge, according to a police report released July 3.

Christine Campbell, age unavailable, of 67 W. View St., was charged with risk of injury or impairing the morals of children/child selling, second-degree assault with a weapon and second-degree reckcless endangerment. 

Joseph Malloy, 41, of the same address, was charged with risk of injury or impairing the morals of children/child selling and third-degree assault.

There is a court order sealing the arrest details of the incident, according to the report.

Bond was set at $100,000 each. And both were assigned July 5 court appearance dates.
