Greenwich Driver Faces DWI Charge


A motorist who Greenwich Police say was seen crossing the double yellow traffic lines on West Putnam Avenue is facing a driving while intoxicated charge.

According to a police report, when police stopped the driver at 12:18 a.m. June 23, she reportedly had glassy eyes and failed field sobriety tests.

Nalisha H. Dipshan, 32, of 5 Stanwich Rd., Greenwich, was charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to drive in proper lane.

Dipshan was released after posting $250 bond and is scheduled to appear July 7 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
