A Greenwich High School student who was treated for 'possibly being under the influence" is facing a felony drug-possession charge.

According to a Greenwich Police report, the 14-year-old girl was taken to Greenwich Hospital after initially being brought to the nurses office about 11 a.m. Dec. 6. A teacher found an abandoned book bag in the classroom where the student had last been in, which contained "an unmarked pill bottle containing small yellow pills ... subsequently identified as Clonazepam," according to the report.

The student admitted owning the book bag and "that the pills inside had been given to the student by a friend in Port Chester," according to the report. Clonazepam is a muscle relaxer

The student was issued a juvenile summons charging her with illegal possession of a controlled substance, a felony.

The student is scheduled to appear Jan. 14, 2014 in the Juvenile Matters Division of state Superior Court in Stamford.
