Greenwich Public Schools has advised: School bus service in this area has been canceled and schools are notifying/have notified parents that the buses listed below will transport students as close to their stops as possible.

An elderly Greenwich woman was critically injured when the Lexus sedan she was driving was involved in a crash with a 10-wheel dump truck in the 400 block of North Street Monday afternoon.
According to Greenwich Police, at approximately 12:30 p.m. a four-door Lexus sedan driven by the unidenfied elderly Greenwich woman, was traveling south on North Street, in the area of 437 North St., when the Lexus struck a northbound 10-wheel dump truck.
The operator of the dump truck was found uninjured and the operator of the Lexus was heavily entrapped and severely injured, according to police.
"Members of the Greenwich Fire Department (GFD) were able to extricate the operator. The patient was found to be critically injured and her care was turned over to the personnel of the Greenwich Emergency Medical Services (GEMS)," according to a police statement.
GEMS transported the operator to the nearest medical facility which is the Greenwich Hospital. During her transport to the hospital she was provided advanced life support. Upon arrival at the Greenwich Hospital her care was then turned over to the Emergency Room staff.
The roadway is closed on North Street between Clapboard Ridge Road and Doubling Road while officers investigate this accident.
The roadway should be open by the evening rush hour, Greenwich police said.
