A man faces a disorderly conduct charge following an early Monday incident in the home of an ex-girlfriend, according to Greenwich Police.

The man, identified as Andrew R. Barnes, 27, who gave an address of 39 Lockwood Dr., Old Greenwich, is accused of being intoxicated and combative at an ex-girlfriend's home about 12:15 a.m. Aug. 26, according to a police report.

He is accused of taking the woman's cell phone to see a text message between her and another man. There was a struggle as the woman tried to retrieve the phone. He was released after posting $1,000 bond and was scheduled to appear Aug. 26 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
