Man Faces Charge He Violated Order of Protection


A man faces charges he violated an order of protection and sixth-degree larceny stemming from an incident earlier this year in Greenwich, according to Greenwich Police.

According to a police report, Anthony P. Russo, 35, of 4 Merritt St., Norwalk, was arrested Aug. 9. Greenwich Police arrested him in Stamford where police had him in custody for unspecified reasons. Greenwich Police had obtained an arrest warrant charging him in connection with a domestic violence incident reported March 23, 2013, according to the report.

Russo was held in lieu of $2,500 bond and scheduled to appear Aug. 12 in state Superior Court in Stamford. Further details regarding the incident were unavailable.
