Greenwich Police say they arrested a Newark, NJ man on charges related to a forged prescription case.
According to a police report, Hassan Reed, who's also known as Elam Shareef, 34, was arrested July 8 by police who obtained a warrant charging him with second-degree forgery and criminal attempt to obtain a controlled substance by forgery.
The charges stem from an incident in May but details were not provided.
Reed was arrested during an appearance in state Superior Court in New Britain. He was held on $50,000 bond.
