Man Faces Strangulation Charge Following Fight

Greenwich Police say the charges stem from a domestic violence case.


A man is facing assault and strangulation charges following a domestic violence incident in the Cos Cob neighborhood of town.

According to Greenwich Police report, Victor H. Londono, 22, of 36 Cos Cob Ave., was arrested at 4 a.m. March 14 following a physical dispute with another person.

Londono was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree strangulation and disorderly conduct, according to the report. The report did not indicate what prompted the dispute or whether the unidentified victim needed medical treatment.

Londono was released after posting $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear April 22 in state Superior Court in Stamford, according to the Connecticut Judicial Branch website.
