Middle School Student Faces Drug-Related Charge

Arrest was made at Western Middle School.

 

A 14-year-old student was arrested this week on a drug-related charge after staff at Western Middle School found the student with a glass pipe used to smoke pot was found by school staff.

According to a Greenwich Police report, the student was arrested about 2:20 p.m. March 20 at the school on Western Junior Highway. "The pipe had the distinct odor of burnt marijuana in the bowl section," according to the report.

The teen was issued a juvenile summons and was scheduled to appear April 2 in the Juvenile Matters Division of state Superior Court in Stamford.
