Motorist Advisory: Avoid Lake Avenue Near Greenwich Hospital
Road paving project expected to continue until noon today.
A town road-paving project has closed Lake Avenue near Greenwich Hospital.
Greenwich Police issued a traffic advisory at 5:49 a.m. Tuesday, warning motorists to avoid the area and to follow detour signs. While the hospital remains accessible, police said, through traffic is prohibited while the town's Department of Public Works paves the roadway.
The work is expected to continue until about noon, according to police.
