Near a School, Trio Faces Drug Charges

Greenwich PD arrest roundup includes three men busted on drug charges, Old Greenwich family on domestic violence charges.

 

A trio of Port Chester, NY men were busted on a variety of drug-related charges when Greenwich Police investigated a report of men were inside a Kia Sportage, using scales to weigh a substance.

According to a police report, the officers found the men and "numerous narcotic substances and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle about 2:50 p.m. March 1, in the Armstrong Court apartment complex on Hamilton Avenue. The Head Start program school is in the complex.

The men, identified as Kenneth J. Errigo, 18, of 85 Birch St., Mauricio Ortega, 18, of 36 Roanoke Ave., and Thomas J. Stacker, 19, of 220 Chestnut St., each were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substand, possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana and possession of drugs within 1,500 feet of a day care center.

Each posted a $2,500 bond and were scheduled to appear March 8 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

A 25-year-old Pemberwick Road woman faces a variety of charges following an argument with her boyfriend about 2 a.m. March 3, according to Greenwich Police.

Police were called to the couple's home on a report of a woman needing medical assistance. Officers found the woman assaulted her boyfriend and broke a window. She was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and third-degree assault. She was released on a promise to appear March 4 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

Three members of an Old Greenwich family were arrested on disorderly conduct charges following an argument in their home about 8:45 a.m. March 1.

The argument involved the 18-year-old son pushing his 41-year-old mother, according to the report. The mother and the boy's 51-year-old father also were accused of pushing the teen from his bed into a hallway.

All three were released on promises to appear March 4 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
