Pedestrian Struck, Killed by Tractor Trailer on I-95 in Greenwich
The Port Chester man was walking along the northbound shoulder when he stepped into the path of a tractor-trailer, according to report in the Greenwich Time.
A Port Chester, N.Y. man was reportedly killed Thursday night when he was struck by a tractor trailer on I-95 in Greenwich.
According to a report in the Greenwich Time, citing statements from state police, Joshua Jacobs, 37, of 411 Westchester Ave., was walking along the northbound shoulder near Exit 2 when he stepped into the path of a tractor trailer driven by Frederick Schmitz, 48, of Macungle, Pa.
Jacobs sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the report.
