Police Arrest Student for False Alarm

A 13-year-old is accused of pulling a false fire alarm during school.

 

A 13-year-old student has been charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief after a fire alarm was pulled at Eastern Middle School.

According to a Greenwich Police report, the alarm was pulled at 7:39 a.m. March 7. The report did not indicate whether the school needed to be evacuated.

The boy was released on a promise to appear March 19 in the Juvenile Matters Division of state Superior Court in Stamford.
