Police: Greenwich Father Punches Mother While Holding Baby in His Arms

Port Chester police arrested a Greenwich man after he allegedly punched his baby’s mother in Port Chester Panera Bread at 3 p.m. Sept. 24, Police Lt. James Ladeairous said.

Police were called to the restaurant for a domestic dispute after the 26-year-old Angel Galvez, who is no longer with the 32-year-old mother of his child, allegedly went into Panera, picked up the child and started walking around the restaurant, causing a verbal argument with the mother.

The mother asked him to stop, he put the baby down and then threw two cups of tea in the mother’s face, Ladeairous said.
