Police Recruits Graduate Training Academy

3 Officers earn honors at graduation from 30-week training program.

 

The ranks of the Greenwich Police Department may have grown by four a few months back but it's only now that the ranks have truly grown.

, have completed their 30-week basic training at the Milford Police Department training academy, which has a regional police academy where several different agencies send their recruits.

According to the Greenwich Police Department, Officer Alan Pesca finished first in the class, with Officer Aran Tradel finishing number 2. Officer Chris Wallace received the Physical Fitness Award and Motivational Award.

The quartet of new officiers will continue their training with a veteran Greenwich Police Field Training Officer (FTO) for a minimum of 13 weeks.
