Purses Stolen from Locked Cars

Three women locked their purses inside their cars while they attended an early morning workout Monday. When they were finished at 6 a.m., they discovered that someone smashed the windows of their cars and stole the purses.
According to Greenwich Police, the thefts involved cars parked at a fitness studio at 19 W. Putnam Ave. Police spokesman Lt. Kraig Gray said the purses, cash and cell phones, worth "hundreds of dollars" were reported missing.
