Restaurant Workers Arrested After Scuffle

One worker received a minor injury in the incident at a Field Point Road restaurant.

 

Just before the lunch-time rush, two restaurant workers apparently got into a pushing and shoving scuffle that ended with the pair being ticketed for disorderly conduct, according to Greenwich Police.

Police were summoned to the Tengda restaurant, 21 Field Point Rd., about 11:20 a.m. March 25 to investigate a reported assault, according to a police report. Officers found that there had been a scuffle and one worker received a minor injury.

The employees were identified as Xiqi Hua, 24, 2317 Cherry Tower, and Da Bin Zheng, 30, of 137-10 Franklin Ave., both of Flushing, NY. The report did not indicate which man was injured or whether hospital treatment was needed.

The men were released on written promises to appear April 5 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
