Woman Rolls 53-inch TV out of Walmart, Allegedly

A Trumbull woman admitted to by forging payroll checks and cashing them, federal prosecutors said. She faces up to 30 years in prison when she is sentenced.

Westport Police say a man driving a car registered in Trumbull jumped out of his car and pointed a 9mm handgun at another driver in a road rage incident in Westport about 5 p.m. Thursday.

A Bridgeport woman was arrested on a warrant out of Norwalk after police identified her as the suspect who allegedly rolled a 53-inch TV out of Walmart without paying for it.

A box lunch truck driver from Milford was arrested by Stamford authorities after he allegedly struck a parked car then drove into a pile of gravel at a construction site - all before 10 a.m. Police responding to the scene allege they found prescription meds, a loaded handgun and beer cans in the truck.

A man was kicked off a bus in Fairfield Wednesday for creating a public disturbance, police said. The suspect was reportedly drunk and then made another scene at McDonald's, where he was allegedly standing in line with an open beer can. Police promptly arrested him.
