Arrests include a weekend DWI bust at 7 a.m.

A Greenwich man faces a charge he failed to appear in court to answer multiple charges stemming from three car burglaries in the Putnam Park coop complex in 2009.

According to a Greenwich Police report, Corbin Holland, 21, who gave an address of 493 Den Rd., Greenwich, surrendered at police headquarters on April 13. He was charged with second-degree failure to appear in court and violation of probation, stemming from the Nov. 24, 2009 burglaries of three cars in the Putnam Park coop complex on Milbank Avenue.

GPS devices, cell phone chargers and EZ Pass tags were stolen from the cars, according to Lt. Kraig Gray. Holland posted $10,500 bond and is scheduled to appear April 27 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

A Stamford woman who Greenwich Police said was stopped for speeding on Maple Avenue at 7:05 a.m. April 14, ended up being arrested on a driving while intoxicated charge.

According to a police report, following an "investigation," Madeline E. Rapsis, 31, who gave an address of 200 Broad St., Stamford, was charged with driving under the influence and traveling unreasonably fast. The report did not detail the "facts and circumstances" that lead to the arrest.

Rapsis was released after posting $250 bond and scheduled to appear April 30 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

Arrest for assaulting girlfriend

A 48-year-old Greenwich man who called police to report his girlfriend was assaulted by a man she met via the Internet ended up being arrested on charges that he assaulted her.

Kevin S. Slusarz, who gave an address of 149 Greenwich Ave., Greenwich, was arrested about 9:30 p.m. April 13. According to a Greenwich Police report, Slusarz summoned police to report an assault, however, investigators determined Slusarz "was the one who assaulted the girlfriend."

He was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. He was held in lieu of $5,000 bond and scheduled to appear April 16 in state Superior Court in Stamford. The police report did not indicate whether the unidentified girlfriend needed medical treatment.
