Stamford Man Charged with Possession of Narcotics
Greenwich Police reports for Sept. 8-10
Edgar Moran, 35, of Stamford was arrested and charged with possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with intent to sell on Saturday, Sept. 8, following a motor vehicle stop.
Police said an officer on patrol observed Moran's vehicle traveling unreasonably fast on Delevan Avenue at about 4:12 a.m.
After stopping the vehicle, a search revealed that Moran was in possession of 4.1 grams of cocaine. Moran was reportedly the sole occupant of the vehicle.

Moran, who was also charged with traveling unreasonably fast, reportedly posted a $450 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 17.

An 18 year old Greenwich man was issued a misdemeanor summons for disorderly conduct shortly after midnight on Monday, Sept. 10, following a domestic dispute at his Harold Avenue residence.
Police said the teen had gotten into an argument with his brother that had turned physical. During the argument the boys' mother got between them in order to separate them, however she was not injured.
The teen was scheduled to appear in court the same day.

Hector R. Vera, 44, of Stamford was issued a misdemeanor summons for creating a public disturbance on Sunday, Sept. 9.
Police said they were called to the Greenwich taxi stand on a report on two drivers in a physical dispute at about 12:40 p.m.
An investigation revealed that Vera had pushed the victim following a verbal argument.
Vera is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 28.
