Students Arrested Following Fight

Greenwich Police say 2 teenage girls were arrested following a fight in the school bathroom.

 

Two Greenwich teens—girls age 16 and 17— were arrested on a third-degree assault charge following a fight in the girls bathroom of the ARCH school.

The incident took place March 4 at the school located at St. Catherine of Siena, 4 Riverside Ave., and resulted with both being injured, according to Greenwich Police. The altercation involved "kicking, punching and hair pulling," according to the police report.

The girls were treated by the school nurse for injuries, according to police spokesman Lt. Kraig Gray. The report did not indicate what provoked the fight.

Each was released in the custody of their mothers and scheduled to appear March 12 in the Juvenile Matters Division of state Superior Court in Stamford.
