Suspects Face Harassment, Assault, Theft Charges

Greenwich Police have a long list of charges they pressed against suspects arrested this week.

 

A man is facing more than a dozen charges related to harassment and violating a order of protection, according to a Greenwich Police report.

Henry J. DiMatteo, 48, of 6 Winnebago Rd., Yonkers, NY, was arrested about 4:45 p.m. March 13 by police who had an arrest warrant.

DiMatteo was charged with three counts of threatening, five counts of harassment and seven counts of violation of a protective order, according to the report. Details of the case involving a Jan. 5 incident weren't included in the report.

DiMatteo was held in lieu of $10,000 bond and he was scheduled to appear March 14 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

A woman involved in a physical dispute with a juvenile was arrested on an assault charge on Wednesday.

Maria C. Henry, 42, of 178 Henry St., Greenwich, was charged with risk of injury to a minor, third-degree assault and disorderly conduct  just before 4 p.m. March 13, according to the report.

Henry was released on a $5,000 bond and scheduled to appear March 14 in stae Superior Court in Stamford.

A man from the Bronx, NY was arrested March 12 by Greenwich Police on charges he stole a credit card and used it buy more than $2,000 worth of goods and services back in January 2008.

Dante White, 24, of 880 Colgate Ave., the Bronx, was charged with one count each of third-degree larceny, credit card theft, illegal use of a credit card and receipt of goods from illegal use of a credit card.

His bond was set at $5,000 and he was scheduled to appear March 19 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
