Teen Charged after Fight at Shelter

A 16-year-old rsident of the Kids in Crisis shelter was arrested on charges he refused to obey shelter staff, and pushed one staffer, threw furniture, broke a telephone and an exit sign.

The unidentified youth was charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal mischief, following the 2 p.m. incident Tuesday. He was unable to post $500 bond and was held being held at the Greenwich Police lockup until his March 14 date in state Superior Court in Stamford.
