Teen Faces Car Burglary Charges

Greenwich PD: Teen found to have items taken during Riverside car burglary.

Greenwich Police say they arrested at 15-year-old boy in connection with the theft of items from a car parked on Susan Lane in Riverside.

The suspect was located a short time after the theft was reported at about 1:15 a.m. Sept. 22, according to a report released Sept. 27. The teen had the items reported missing from the car. The items were not specified in the report.

The teen was charged with fourth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny, third-degree burglary and interfering with an officer after he reportedly resisted arrest. Fourth-degree larceny involves the theft of items worth more than $500 but less than $1,000.

The teen was issued a misdemeanor summons to appear Oct. 9 in the Juvenile Matters Division of state Superior Court in Stamford.
