Teen Faces Shoplifting Charges

Information obtained from the Greenwich Police Department and does not reflect guilt or convictions.

One of two Norwalk teens who went shopping in the LF store on Greenwich Avenue on Sunday afternoon, ended up being arrested on shoplifting charges.

According to Greenwich Police, they were called to the 319 Greenwich Ave. store because the manager recognized the pair – age 16 and 17 - from a previous theft.  The Greenwich store had information the pair were at a sister store in Westport earlier in the day.

Management of the stores worked with Westport and Greenwich police and the 17-year suspect was charged with 5th-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit 5th-degree larceny, after admitting she stole merchandise, according to the police report.
