Teen Slaps Mother; Faces Assault Charge

A domestic violence incident ends with son's arrest.

 

Greenwich Police arrested a 19-year-old resident following a domestic violence incident during which the teen's mother was slapped in the face.

The incident was reported about 8:50 a.m. Nov. 13 at the family's North Water Street apartment, according to a police report. The teen was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct and released on a promise to appear Nov. 14 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

A Meadow Road resident in the Riverside section of town reported a wallet was stolen from a car left unlocked and parked at the home sometime overnight Nov. 9.
