Thefts from Cars Continue in Riverside

Wallets and electronics are the items of choice for thieves who entered parked cars left unlocked in Riverside, according to Greenwich Police.

"They are possibly related," police spokesman Lt. Kraig Gray said of the thefts both of which occurred a short distance from one another.

About 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 10, the owner of a car parked in the 200 block of Riverside Avenue reported a wallet left inside the vehicle was stolen, according to Gray.

The owner of a second unlocked car parked in the 200 block of Riverside Avenue, reported a set of headphones and a GPS unit stolen at 9:15 p.m. Jan. 10, Gray said.
