'Tie' One On for a Greenwich Police Cause

Greenwich Police and vineyard vines have partnered for a benefit for the GPD Scholarship Fund.

 

The Greenwich Police Department is hoping that residents will 'tie' one on—literally by supporting its Greenwich Police Department Scholarship Fund.

In partnership with the local clothier vineyard vines, the specially-designed neckties featuring Greenwich Police boats, patrol cars and motorcycles are being sold at police headquarters, 11 Bruce Pl. The silk ties—in raspberry, light blue, green and navy, sell for $75.

The partnership also includes a one-of-kind design canvas tote bag which is trimmed with the light blue silk design. The bag sells for $85.

The ties and bags are available at headquarters during regular business hours.

(And just for the record, Greenwich Police advise residents not to drink and drive—they'll be out in force for holiday sobriety checks through the New Year's holiday,)
