Tires slashed The driver of a Greenwich Taxi reported that all four tires of his 2006 Lincoln Town Car were slashed while he was grocery shopping at the A & P Fresh supermarket on West Putnam Avenue on Sunday. According to Greenwich Police, the vandalism was reported at 1:55 p.m., Oct. 6.
Fishing Gear Stolen On Sunday morning, the owner of a boat docked at a marina at 29 River Rd. in Cos Cob reported someone stole fishing rods and reels and boat components, including electronics. Greenwich Police Lt. Kraig Gray said the items were worth "a couple thousand dollars." The theft was reported shortly before 10 a.m. Oct. 6.
Electronics Stolen from Car Greenwich Police say the owner of a car parked on Arnold Street in Old Greenwich reported a MacBook computer and an iPod were stolen from the center console of their car left parked—and unlocked over the weekend. The theft was was reported about 10 a.m. Oct. 6.
Gym Locker Looted A client of the Edge fitness center at 1333 E. Putnam Ave. reported their wallet and personal items were stolen from a locker. The thief wasn't deterred by a lock the client had used to secure the locker. The theft was reported about 5:45 p.m. Oct. 5.
