A 57-year-old woman faces a driving while intoxicated charge after she refused to leave the former Porricelli's Food Mart property at 26 Arcadia Road in Old Greenwich and tried to leave the scene, according to Greenwich Police.

According to a police report, officers were sent to the store after receiving a report of "an intoxicated female refusing to leave the property." Officers found the woman trying to start a car at about 3:30 p.m. Sept. 24. According to the report, Debra Oler, 57, of 35 Boulder Brook Rd., Greenwich, "smelled of alcoholic beverages and failed field sobriety tests."

The report did not indicate why she was on the property.

Oler was charged with driving while intoxicated and held in lieu of $250 bond. She was scheduled to appear Oct. 10 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
