Woman Arrested for Failing to Appear in Court

Greenwich Police arrest the woman cited for removing holiday decorations from Byram Vets club.

The woman cited in December for removing the holiday decorations from the Byram Veterans Association building and throwing them away, was arrested by Greenwich Police for failing to show up in court.

According to a police report, Theresa Harrington, 53, a resident of an apartment located in the Veterans' building at 300 Delavan Ave., was arrested March 13 at her home. She was named in a warrant charging her with second-degree failure to appear in court.

Harrington is accused of failing to appear Jan. 21 in state Superior Court in Stamford, to answer the criminal mischief citation she received following the Dec. 21 incident.

She was held in lieu of $2,500 bond and was given a new court date of March 21.
