Yonkers Quartet Bagged on Shoplifting Charges

Greenwich Police say women shoplifted items from Ralph Lauren clothing store.

 

A quartet of Yonkers, NY women face larceny-related charges stemming from a reported shoplifting incident at the Ralph Lauren Rugby store on Greenwich Avenue.

The women were nabbed shortly after 5 p.m. Dec. 12 after Greenwich Police received a report of a larceny from the Zara clothing store at 225 Greenwich Ave. It turns out, the Zara incident was an apparent attempted larceny and the women were found with items reportedly taken from the nearby Ralph Lauren Rugby store, 195 Greenwich Ave., according to a police report.

One of the suspects also was found with a shoplifting device, however, the police report did not identify what that device was.

All four were charged with fourth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny and criminal attempt at sixth-degree larceny.

The suspects were identified as:

  • Sharhonda Glover, 26, of 159 Ridge Ave. (She also was charged with possession of a shoplifting device.)
  • Bonet W. Hendricks, 18, of 77 Locust Hill,
  • Lauren Jackson, 20, of 26 Chestnut St.,
  • Myasia McDowell, 22, street address unavailable.

Each posted a $5,000 bond and was scheduled to appear Dec. 19 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
