Absentee Ballot for Greenwich Elections Are Due

Tuesday, Nov. 5 is Election Day.

But for some reason you don't have the time to exercise your Constitutional right to vote...then you'd better fleet-feet it to Greenwich Town Hall on Saturday.

Staff from the Greenwich Town Clerk's Office will available from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday, Nov. 2 to assist Greenwich voters who want to cast an absentee ballot for the local elections.

According to Town Clerk Carmella Budkins, residents can cast an absentee ballot if they won't be in town on Election Day, they are a poll worker, have a disability or are serving in the military.

So far, the Town Clerk's office has issue 561 absentee ballots and 397 were cast as of Friday afternoon.

For more information, call the town clerk's office at (203) 622-7897 or stop by town hall on Saturday, Nov. 2.
